2025-2026 Registration is now Open!
Our tuition is based on a nine-month dance year (September - May). Tuition is due on the first of the month and is payable up until the 10th of that month without penalty. After the 10th, a late fee will be applied to your account. Tuition remains the same whether it is a three-, four-, or five-week month as it is prorated. Full refund for withdrawals before the first class. The studio office must be informed of ALL withdrawals; otherwise, tuition charges will accrue. Tuition is NOT refunded for missed classes. Registration fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. See tuition below for the monthly rate. There is a one time $30 registration fee at the beginning of each year. If you pay for the entire year in full, the fee is waived. Tuition can be paid online by bank account draft, credit or debit card; either through auto-pay or manually when you are billed. There is a drop box in the office if you'd like to pay by cash or check to the studio.
A discount is given the more hours that are taken. Competition is priced separately. Solos, duets, trios, private lessons, and master classes are priced separately as well.
If your child will be absent or late, please call and let the office know. If your child is more than 10 minutes late and the office is not notified, they may not be allowed to dance. This is for the safety of the dancer. Dancers who have poor attendance do not progress. Perfect attendance is ideal and is a great first step to a dancer's progress. If the school district closes due to bad weather, the studio will be closed. Dancers are welcome to make up missed classes in a class of the same level.
All vacations, school snow day closings, upcoming events are posted by signs, social media, the BAND app, and on our website, allegrodancearts.com. Our office staff is available Monday-Thursday from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Friday 4:00-6:00 p.m and Saturdays 9:00-11:00 a.m. Staff is available by phone 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and by e-mail at allegrodancearts@gmail.com. Someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
We try to place students in the best fit for their age and ability. If you are new to the studio, we may ask your child to try a couple of different class levels. From there, the teacher (or teachers) will decide which class is the best fit. This is done with careful consideration. If you are concerned about your child's placement, please let the office know. We don't want your child to lose interest because of wrong class placement.
Arrive at the school with enough time to change and prepare for class. If your child needs to leave early, they should let the teacher know before class begins. They should not leave the classroom without first receiving permission from the teacher. No gum, food, drink, or cell phones in the studio.
A dancer shows respect for their teacher and their art form by: being properly dressed (see Dress Code section), listening to and applying corrections, being prepared for their turn, finishing every exercise to the best of their ability, not talking in class, and practicing at home.
A dancer shows respect for their studio by: never hanging or leaning on the barres, never running, shouting, or playing roughly in the building, and by picking up after themselves.
A parent shows respect by: only watching classes after permission is given by the teacher, not talking or bringing in small children while viewing a class, picking up after their children, picking up their children promptly when class is over, and letting the teacher know if her child will be absent, late, or leaving early.
