Allegro Dance Arts Competition Team

Designed for dancers who are ready to take their training to the next level. This program offers a unique opportunity for dedicated students to receive more individualized instruction, refine their technique, and learn choreography at an accelerated pace. Team members work together to create dynamic performances that are showcased on stage and evaluated by professional judges, providing valuable feedback and experience in a competitive setting. Joining the competition team not only challenges dancers to grow artistically and technically but also builds confidence, teamwork, and a deeper love for dance.

Dancers interested in joining Allegro’s Competition Team must be committed to their training year-round. Participation in at least one of our summer evening class sessions, Camp Throw Down, and team auditions is required, as well as attendance at summer choreography sessions. Once the season begins, team members are expected to attend all weekly competition rehearsals in addition to their regular technique and conditioning classes. Dancers must also participate in all scheduled competitions—typically four held in the spring—and perform in both our Competition Showcase and annual Recital. These requirements ensure that each dancer is fully prepared, confident, and ready to perform their best on stage.
