Gretchen Myers, Founder, Studio Owner & Teacher

Gretchen began her dance studies under Berverly Mozzetti and continued her formal dance training in Denver where she studied and performed with Colorado Ballet, Colorado State Ballet, Ballet Arts, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble, and The Colorado Time Steps. She received additional training at Butler University, Mercyhurst and Allegheny Colleges. She has staged and choreographed numerous story ballets, plays and operas including: Nutcracker, Coppelia, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, A Midsummer’s Night Dream, Peter Pan, The Wizard of Oz, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Carmen, and Carmina Burana. She was the choreographer for the 1995 Moscow cultural exchange group, and on staff for the Vail International Dance Festival. In addition to numerous academic awards, she has received the Who’s Who in Colleges & Universities, Who’s Who in Teachers and Education, and the YWCA’s "Woman of the Year" Awards. She currently teaches ballet at Allegro Dance Arts and has previously taught ballet at Allegheny College as well. Her pieces have won numerous "Outstanding Choreography" awards and Critic's Choice Nominations. She loves teaching, and seeing dancers succeed as artists and in life.

Taylor Paige Sada - Artistic Director

Taylor Paige Sada began her dance training at Allegro Dance Arts. She has training in Hip Hop, Jazz Funk, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Contemporary, and Tumbling. Taylor started her career dancing competitively at Age 11. Taylor further trained at Debbie Allen's Dance Academy in Los Angeles, CA with Dave Scott. She has attended several Master Classes and Intensives at Broadway Dance Center in NYC and the Millennium Dance Complex, as well as several Dance Conventions. Taylor was a Protege with the Pulse on Tour for four years where she received extensive dance training traveling with world renowned choreographers Brian Friedman, Gil Duldulao, Tricia Miranda, Tyce Diorio, Brooke Lipton, Tessandra Chavez, Ian Eastwood, and Dave Scott. During this time she was selected to perform in several pieces in New York City each summer. She has performed in local productions of the Nutcracker in leading roles as Clara, Dew Drop, and Chinese Doll. She was cast in the Academy Theatre Production of Cats as Rumple Teaser. She has also performed in lead roles, Alice in Alice in Wonderland and Nala in The Lion King. 

Taylor has professional dance experience as a dancer in the Love Jones Girlz Rumors Music Video that aired on BET's 106 and Park. She was in Canada's Ivivva Athletic Back to School Promotional Video produced by Dave Scott. She was also featured in Ian Eastwood's dance video 'Berzerk' filmed in Chicago.

Taylor began teaching dance her Junior year of high school at Allegro Dance Arts. While attending college at Penn State University she taught at Mind Body Art Dance Studio where she started choreographing competition numbers. During her time at Penn State she was also a  member of Urban Dance Troupe, a hip hop group on campus, while earning her Master's Degree in Accounting and Bachelor's Degree in Finance. Shortly after gradation, she earned her CPA license. Taylor's competition choreography has won numerous choreography awards over the past couple of years. She love teaching, and seeing the passion and growth in her students. She loves any opportunity to be a student herself, constantly striving to learn new things and improve her own craft from other dancers.

Taylor Paige Sada - Artistic Director

Carleigh Murphy began her dance training at the age of 3 at Allegro Dance Arts. She also joined the Oil Region Ballet Company for four years while she was in  high school. She attended Northwestern State University, where she studied dance and earned her BFA in dance in 2024. While in school, she performed in numerous dance concerts, choreographed pieces for the Dance Organization of Students, and attended the American College Dance Association her Junior and Senior year. She began her teaching career right out of college at Allegro Dance Arts, choreographing pieces for the competition team.  She has also helped choreograph parts of the Oil Region Ballet's most recent production of "Cinderella". Carleigh has a very large passion for dance and is excited to be teaching where it all started for her. 

Stacey Teuta - Teacher

Taylor Paige Sada - Artistic Director

Stacey began her dance training with Dance East, beginning at the age of 2 through graduation at the age of 18. She trained in ballet, pointe, tap, and jazz. As she got older, her free spirit drove her into taking classes in modern, afro jazz, and what is now known as contemporary. She traveled to Buffalo, NYC, and Toronto to take specialized /intensive classes and workshops with choreographer Bob Rizzo along with other choreographers from STEPS. She began her college career with a focus on dance until an ongoing injury unfortunately prevented her from continuing. Stacey received a BS degree in business management. While living on Ft. Benning, she assisted at Performance Dance Center in Columbus, GA where her oldest two daughters began to dance, rekindling her love of dance. After moving back to Meadville, Stacey began teaching with Allegro in 2012 and has never looked back. She loves all styles of dance, but contemporary and fusion are her favorites. She loves to create out of the box pieces and watch the children learn to express themselves through the art of dance.

Grace Morrell - Teacher

Grace Morrell has been dancing for over 18 years and brings a wide range of experience in ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and tumbling. She spent 11 years as a competitive dancer with Allegro Dance Arts and performed for six seasons with the Oil Region Ballet Company, where she held Corps de Ballet and Principal roles in both classical and contemporary productions. Grace is a recent graduate of The Ohio State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in Dance. While at OSU, she was a four-year member of the Movement Variations Dance Team, performing at various events including the BuckeyeThon Dance Marathon, OSU Homecoming Parade, and annual showcases. She also performed in Hatch: OSU Department of Dance 2024 BFA/MFA Concert and the 2025 Spring BFA Senior Concert: What Remains. Grace studied abroad through the Dance Denmark program, where she trained in diverse style and movement practices and performed in cities across Denmark and Germany. She has furthered her training through summer intensives and master classes at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Rock School West, Steps on Broadway, and Millennium Dance Complex. Grace’s goal as a teacher is to create a space where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.

Victoria Pless - Teacher

Victoria Pless (she/her) has been teaching at Allegro since fall 2024. She returns to the studio to teach tap after being away for over a decade. Victoria was a lifelong dancer at Allegro Dance Arts, participating in ballet, tap, and jazz classes. Her first competition season occurred when she was 10 years old where she competed to "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" with the senior tap dancers. Moving into middle and high school, Victoria focused on tap dance, participating in multiple classes and competition pieces. She often was accompanied by her younger sister, Julia, for duets and classes. She is thrilled to be back in her old stomping grounds. Victoria also works for a national public health nonprofit focused on overdose prevention and supports a graduate school course for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in public health! 

Sidney Brown - Teacher

Sidney began her dance journey at Allegro Dance Arts at the age of 4 and spent four years on the competition team, specializing in hip hop and tumbling. Her passion for movement extended into cheerleading, where she cheered for five years at Slippery Rock University, earning degrees in Safety Management (2022) and Early Childhood Education (2024).

She has years of experience working with young athletes, from assisting with the Allegro cheer team at 18 to teaching toddlers through high schoolers at a cheer gym in Boyers, PA. For the past two years, she has volunteered with Meadville cheer and currently serves as the head cheer coach at Allegheny College.

Sidney is excited to bring her energy and experience into the classroom as a new teacher at 1st District Elementary and is thrilled to return to Allegro—this time as a teacher and mentor, where her dance journey first began.

Delaynee Wilcox - Teacher

 Cheryl began her dance training at the Mary Rita School of Dance where she was a featured soloist in Nutcracker and spring recital productions. She studied ballet, jazz, and tap. She participated in "A Summer Happening at Indiana University of PA, a program for gifted dancers. Cheryl continued her dance studies at Allegheny College where she studied under Jan Hyatt and numerous guest artists. She was a member of Allegheny Repertoire Dance Ensemble. She was a featured soloist in "Cassandra." She was officer, member and dancer with Orchesis. While completing her master degree in mathematics at University of Pittsburgh, Cheryl continued her dance studies at the Shady Side Center for the Arts. She is currently very active behind the scene with French Creek Community Theater where she choreographed Snow White and Cinderella. Cheryl has taught at Allegro since 2005. She is a gifted teacher who nurtures grace and imagination in the young dancer. Cheryl teaches in the mathematics department at Allegheny College.

Delaynee Wilcox - Teacher

Delaynee is from Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania and a former dancer at Allegro Dance Arts. Starting at the age of two, she’s spent the last 30 years immersed in various styles of dance, tumbling, and gymnastics. She attended the Lakette’s Gymnastics Academy where she excelled as a Level 6 gymnast. As a 2017 graduate of Edinboro University, Delaynee spent all her collegiate years as a football and basketball cheerleader. Upon graduation, she was named Head Cheerleading Coach at her Alma Mater where she pioneered the university’s first competition cheerleading program. Delaynee now spends her time as a busy mom of two to her daughter, Daylin and son, Bowen. Her roots at Allegro Dance Arts span over three decades, and she could not be more happy to now teach at the studio that cultivated her love for the art of dance and tumbling.

Marissa Powell - Guest Teacher

Marissa is a senior dance major at Drexel University, with a minor in somatics, and recently completed her internship at Brickhouse NYC, a commercial hip-hop dance studio in Times Square. She now works in their social media. 


Marissa has been in several professional performances, and most recently was in the opening number of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade performing for Billy Porter. She has also choreographed several pieces for the Allegro competition team over the years, and choreographed her second student work at Drexel University. 


Our Allegro alum is always more than excited to come back home and connect with all of our dancers.
